Whats macbeth mental state.

In this soliloquy it shows that Macbeth is saying that lady Macbeth should of died after awhile, not now and is saying that there was much more time. He says she could of died tomorrow but not tomorrow but tomorrow, which means he wanted her to live another day every time and plus, Lady Macbeth made Macbeth kill Duncan and now Lady Macbeth is dead he feels so stupid but hes okay with it. He shows this by saying the quote “It is a tale Told by an idiot.” which shows an idiot made him do his actions which is confusing because every action is done by our self’s and he feels like he was controlled. Macbeth does dearly love Lady Macbeth but he felt controlled.

Equivocator? Macbeth?

Will all great Neptune’s ocean wash this blood Clean from my hand? No.

This shows that macbeth is a equivocator because this shows that he can’t forgive himself and no one will, even the ocean won’t forgive him. This quote is from act 2 scene 2. Blood means guilt in macbeth and if he says he cannot wash this blood out of his hands it means he cannot wash his guilt away from his head and he talks to himself outloud , which shows he is going insane slowly. This also shows that Neptune that is a god cannot forgive him Or it says With one of the greatest gods cannot get rid of his guilt.
